2/11/14 We were informed there was a four month old Sheppard in the San Bernardino City Shelter with an Abscess under his Chin/Throat. We were told he would be available on the 12th, but there were 6 people on the list to adopt him. Come to find out no one adopted him that day due to his Abscess. So we went and pulled him. Update to follow
We are headed to the our vet Dr.Greek& Associates in Yorba Linda. The vet said I’m a healthy boy and the abscess is not a big deal. It is called Strangles. It will go away in a couple weeks with rest and Medicine. Please consider donating for Hersey’s medical Bills. We can’t save dogs without your help.
